Sporting Career

1987 - 2000 + 2011 – present: National federation athlete in the German Water Ski Federation, several-times world and European champion, European cup winner and German champion.

In addition to a number of other awards, holder of Silver Laurel Leaf – highest award in Germany for sporting achievements, conferred by the German President.

1988: World champion in barefoot water ski jumping in Melbourne, Australia.

2010: World silver medallist in barefoot water ski jumping (over 35) in Brandenburg after 10-year break from competitive skiing

2011: German barefoot combination water skiing and jumping, Kell am See.

2012: Two-times world champion barefoot water skier in slalom and jumping, runner-up world champion in combination skiing and bronze medal winner in trick skiing in Waco, Texas (over 35 category). Further information - photo of award ceremony

2013 european jump champion, runner-up champion in tricks and overall, third place in slalom in Kimberly, South Africa.

2016 world jump champion, runner-up champion in slalom and third overall over 35 in Lake Alma, Wisconsin. European champion with the national team, runner-up champion in slalom, tricks and overall (no jump because of wind) in Jönköping, Sweden.
